Faculty members have actively engaged in various projects, particularly in renewable energy and innovative technology applications.

Research and Consultancy Projects (2023-2024)

In the academic year 2023-2024, notable projects include the “Design of Solar Energy System” and “Training on Usage and Maintenance of Solar System” led by Mr. Rajashekar Marepally, Mr. Bhaskar Thantarapalli, and Mr. Harikranth Budida. These consultancy projects, funded by Avighni Renewable Energy Systems India Private Limited, secured funding of ₹1,00,000 for a year. Additionally, Mr. Rajashekar Marepally and Ms. Rajitha Kasarla collaborated on the TCS-iON online examinations project, focusing on power backups and network connections, with funding of ₹1,81,080.

Research and Consultancy Projects (2022-2023)

During 2022-2023, Dr. Miska Prasad, Mr. Rajashekar Marepally, and Mr. Harikranth Budida developed and delivered content for ACE Engineering Academy, receiving ₹1,50,000. They also worked on substation and transformer design and erection projects for SSR Electro Mech, with funding of ₹1,02,000. Furthermore, they continued their consultancy with TCS-iON Digital for online examinations, earning ₹1,78,471.

Research and Consultancy Projects (2021-2022 and Prior)

The previous years saw consistent involvement in content development and delivery for ACE Engineering Academy, with projects led by faculty like Dr. Miska Prasad and Mr. Hanumantha Rao Kandula. The funding for these initiatives ranged from ₹75,000 to ₹1,50,000 annually. Projects in substation design, transformer erection, and electrical and electronic maintenance also featured prominently.

Publications and Scholarly Contributions

Faculty members have published extensively in reputed journals and conferences. In 2023, Dr. S. Mani Kuchibhatla contributed papers on rooftop solar-powered inverters and Arduino-powered robotic cars to international journals like IJSRET and IJSRED. Dr. M. Prasad published research on mobile charger development and harmonic analysis in leading engineering journals. Other faculty members, including Mr. M. Rajashekar, Ms. G. Rajitha, and Ms. A. Sunantha, have explored topics like IoT-based smart controls, fault analysis, and battery management systems, publishing their findings in UGC-recognized journals.

Books and Book Chapters

Faculty have also authored books and book chapters, contributing significantly to academic literature. Dr. M. Prasad and Mr. T. Bhaskar published “Renewable Energy Based D-FACTS Devices” in 2024, while Dr. S. Mani Kuchibhatla wrote a chapter on carrier frequency impact in grid-connected wind systems in “Theory and Applications of Engineering Research, Vol.1.”
